Event Manager – Dublin – Closes 21st of January

Murder on the Menu is looking for an outgoing, talented event manager to help grow our expanding business in the Dublin area.

As an Event Manager, you’ll be responsible for communication between organisers and venues,  you’ll play a significant role in organising and executing our sales strategy and above all, you’ll have fun doing it!

You’re an organised self-starter who’s passionate about providing great service and understands the importance of planning a memorable hen party. You’ll build relationships with new and existing clients, be a key driver of revenue growth for the company and providing outstanding service to our hen organisers.

Duties:

• Handle all hen party/corporate communication & sales requests.
• Update calendars, spreadsheets and event management software accordingly.
• Implement new practices in marketing communications to grow revenues and build awareness of the Murder on the Menu brand.
• Improve systems and processes to maximise business intelligence.
• Achieve monthly sales targets

Experience & Qualification:

• Event Management diploma an asset but not required
• A good understanding of the marketing and selling process
• Former hotel sales experience a major asset
• Practical experience in the application of digital marketing and social media as part of integrated marketing campaigns
• Good knowledge of Dublin venues and nightlife
